Hello, October!

It’s officially Spooky Season! It’s time for one of the most fun holidays for all ages that revolves around fashion, dressing up, and transforming into characters, all in celebration! Halloween is celebrated around the globe and sometimes even in the dance studio by dancers! If you get to dress up for dance class at your studio, or if you just want a danceable Halloween look, keep reading! Below are my 3 go-to Halloween costume ideas for this season, to take from the Street to the Studio! All these looks are made from dancewear, so take out your fun colored leotards and get creative! Here are some ways to transform your dancewear into fierce and fun costumes!

Dive Deep as a Mermaid

The main component of this look is to wear a green colored skirt to represent your mermaid tail! Pair it with your favorite colored leotard on top and add flowers in your hair for a unique flair! Slay the sea in style by adding some pearl earrings! This is such a quick and easy look for really any style of dance!

“Make waves and Rise like the tide.”

Take Center Stage as Wonder Woman

Girl power is fierce! Make your Wonder Woman costume look totally danceable by wearing a red leotard paired with a blue dance skirt. Accessorize by adding a gold belt and a red cape. Now, you are ready to take on the dance floor with confidence because Wonder Woman knows how to rock it!

“A strong woman looks a challenge right in the eye and gives it a wink.”

Angel

To achieve an angelic look for dance class, start with a white leotard and a white skirt. You can top off this look with a halo braid wrapped around the crown of your head and even add some delicate flowers. If wings will get in the way, try adding some white netting or tulle wrapped around your arms to soften the look!

“Your wings already exist. all you have to do is fly.”

Instagram it! Now, grab your leotards and get creative! It’s time to head out with all the other gal and ghouls for some Halloween treats.
