It’s only April, but it is time to think about Christmas because the Radio City Rockettes are holding auditions for their 2018 production of the Christmas Spectacular. The Rockettes are looking for dancers to join their ensemble as well as male and female vocalists, and girls who can play Clara en pointe.
When:
Monday, April 16, 2018 to Wednesday, April 25th, 2018
Where:
Radio City Music Hall, New York City
Requirements:
- Dancers must be between 5’6” and 5’10 1/2” tall with shoes in order to become a Rockette
- Proficient in ballet, tap, and jazz
- Must be at least 18 years old by September 15
- Girls auditioning for Clara must be 4’10” or under and appear to be 14 years old or younger
- Singers should have a wide vocal range and the ability to move well
- Singers should bring sheet music for 16 bars of a song in your own key that best exemplifies your natural style
- Bring a headshot and resume
- Female dancers should bring character heels
