The iHeart Radio Music Awards were full of suspense as we waited to find out about the song of the year, the cutest celebrity pet, and to see Taylor Swift’s latest music video for her album Reputation. Song of the year went to Ed Sheeran for “Shape of You,” and we can’t say we’re surprised. Adorable pup, Toulouse Grande (Arianna Grande’s furry entourage) took home the cutest celebrity pet award. Unfortunately, all of this happened at the beginning of the award show’s two hour TV spot. Many viewers were waiting anxiously for one thing – the “Delicate” music video.

Before the video aired, Taylor was also honored with the Female Artist of the Year award. This adds Taylor to this year’s impressive lineup of artists of the year alongside Ed Sheeran (Male Artist of the Year), Bruno Mars (R&B Artist), Luis Fonsi (Latin Artist), Imagine Dragons (Alternative Rock Artist), Metallica (Rock Artist), Thomas Rhett (Country Artist), The Chainsmokers (Dance Artist), Kendrick Lamar (Hip-Hop Artist), and Calibre 50 (Regional Mexican Artist). Even with that astounding award to add to her collection, Taylor’s fans, the Swifties were still waiting for the music video their favorite pop artist had announced on social media and her personal app The Swift Life the week before.

The video reminds us of Taylor Swift’s Red era music video for the song “Look What You Made Me Do.” Taylor dances unapologetically (and at times even beautifully) as she makes her way through a world that sees right through her (literally). The video’s sequences, costume changes, and even changes in weather make us certain that the behind the scenes videos will be just as incredible as the video itself. And, based on the song attached to the video, we’re pretty certain the video is conveying a message that says something along the lines of “no one saw me until I met you.” Who is “you?” Her boyfriend Joe Alwyn, of course!
