Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre Travels to Dubai
Alongside plans to host the Houston Ballet’s production of Swan Lake in October, the Dubai Opera is adding a series of performances from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre to its dance programme. Known for their breathtaking work in modern dance, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre will be bringing Revelations created by Ailey himself to the Opera along with some of their other astounding performances. The October performances will mark the dance company’s first visit to the Opera and to Dubai and add the venue to their incredible list of past performance spaces with locations in 71 countries!(Read the full story here!)
SYTYCD’s 15th Season
So You Think You Can Dance has been renewed for its 15th season! We have been biting our nails in anticipation of the return of this iconic competition show. Creator Nigel Lythgoe tweeted the announcement and so did last season’s celebrity judge Vanessa Hudgens. So, it seems like we will be continuing forward with the same panel of judges as last season.
