Cue the hearts, chocolates, teddy bears, red roses, and pink everything! A day filled with lots of love, sweets, and my absolute favorite-colored fashion, Valentine’s Day is coming up fast! Whether you spend this holiday dancing the day away, watching rom-coms, or dressing up… With your loved ones, your besties, or surrounded by family, the festivities and fashions this February day brings, are definitely something to celebrate!

With the color of our dreams (pink) being one of this year’s totally trending hues, it’s easy to find pink inspiration in the fashion industry right now. Pantone even named Innuendo pink the Spring 2022 Color, calling it a “wonderful jolt of energy.” The Fashion Week runways led by example! Vogue UK says “The Spring/Summer 2022 catwalks were brimming with pink-spiration.” Now this is something to get excited about! Go pink.

We can totally take some inspiration from the high fashion runways when designing our perfect V-Day fit! WWD says “…A variety of other spring 22’ collections offer great formulas for creating your Valentine’s Day outfit.” Managing Fashion Editor for Nordstrom Kate Bellman also commented on this perfect match, “Many of the trends that came down the runways are incredibly relevant for the upcoming holiday.” We love a runway ready holiday look!

Valentine’s Day Ready Runway Looks

A Neon moment. The full pink blazer and pant suit Naomi Campbell strutted in during the Versace Spring/Summer 2022 Fashion Show.

Moschino Glam. This is the perfect skirt suit set in pastel shades of pink (originally worn by Achenrin Madit in the Moschino RTW Spring 2022 Runway Show at Bryant Park, New York City).

Strutting above Soho in pink. The fuchsia one shoulder asymmetrical top and acrylic shorts designed by Bugaric, a fashion house in Vienna, Austria, that I got to walk the runway for in NYFW! This unique beautiful piece was Screen printed by FabricFabrik (an Atelier in Vienna).

Styling the Royal Couture X Showstopper Leo for LOVEly Looks

One bodysuit. Two totally fabulous festive looks! Doesn’t this leo just say “Be mine.”? Let’s style a pink leotard into two totally different looks for one lovely holiday!

To create the look, choose with your favorite festive leotard. It will be doubling as a bodysuit! We are going with a classic, centering my fits around the versatile velvet piece that is perfect for this heartfelt holiday— the Royal Couture X Showstopper Pink velvet leotard. Dress it up or style it for dance class! This leotard is a great transitional piece for all kinds of fits. The possibilities are endless. Tap into your creative side and use your fashion imagination to put together an outfit that the Queen of Hearts would slay!

Studio Edition

Did someone say “Happy Ballet-tine’s Day?” Holiday looks you can wear to the studio are some of my favorites! For this danceable Valentine’s Day look, I started with bold colors! Pink and Red make the perfect couple as a leo and skirt combo, paired with my red pointe shoes! Have fun and go crazy mixing dancewear pieces and V-day colors! Atop my French Twist I also added a fun, themed headband secured with bobby pins. Don’t forget the lipstick! Valentine’s Day calls for a classic red shine!
