Sparkle Society member Siena Agudong’s debut as grifter Nick on Netflix’s new family drama No Good Nick is set to premiere on Monday, April 15, 2019. Starring alongside Siena are Melissa Joan Hart (Liz), Sean Astin (Ed), Lauren Lindsey Doniz (Molly), and Kalama Epstein (Jeremy). They play a small family who, until Nick (Siena) arrives, are generally minding their own business. When Nick arrives, claiming to be an orphaned relative with nowhere else to go, that’s when the trouble begins. Siena gave us an inside look at some of the trouble her character gets into.

Siena describes Nick as “very mischievous, charming, quick-witted, sarcastic, and an old soul.” According to Siena, these many layers make Nick even more unpredictable than the plot might suggest. While Nick is trying to scam strangers, Siena certainly isn’t, but that doesn’t mean the two don’t have anything in common. They have a similar sense of humor and the same signature style. “This one time, my mom accidentally brought one of the wardrobe pieces home because she thought it was mine!”

“Nick is a good liar, but I am definitely not!”

Though Nick’s decisions and actions are a little questionable, there’s no question of her maturity and ability to handle tough situations. This was something Siena really latched onto as she brought her role to life. “I have grown with Nick a little bit,” she said, “by experiencing a lot of situations I am blessed to not go through! It has brought me more of maturity and gratefulness for the life I have!”

With a little less than a week before the first ten episodes of No Good Nick join Netflix’s lineup of family dramas, the excitement is high. Siena made us even more excited, telling us that every episode ends with a cliffhanger that will make it impossible not to move onto the next episode. “I am so happy to be a part of a project that is totally made for binge-watching!”
