Nia Sioux just announced a brand new Facebook Watch series! Nia is the host and executive producer of the series, Dance with Nia, which is also a collab with Brat TV.

Over the course of 11 episodes, Nia will meet and dance with dancers with disabilities. Alongside collaborating on exciting performances, Nia and the dancers featured in each episode will have conversations about diversity in dance. “I am just so excited about it because I am highlighting some incredible dancers on the show and getting to highlight their journies through their eyes,” Nia said in an interview with Access Hollywood.

“I wanted to make this show about the dancers and nothing else,” Nia said. An advocate for equality of all kinds, Dance with Nia seems like a natural part of her efforts to get people involved in important conversations, including those about ableism. (Follow Nia on Instagram to keep up with her #rolemodelMonday series.) “It’s all about diversity.”

“This project is so special to me because not only is this my first EP role, but I have also made some amazing and talented friends,” Nia said when she announced the project. The first episode of Dance with Nia premieres on Instagram and Facebook Watch Friday, June 4 at 12pm ET.
