Happy December! Cue all the holiday jams! The weather is getting colder. The lights are shining brighter. It’s time for our fashion to get a bit more festive, don’t you think? While you’ve been celebrating the holidays and getting dressed to winter jams, I’ve been getting excited about the magic that’s in the air during the holiday season! Let’s dive into a 2020 holiday lookbook inspired by our love of leotards.

A Pop of Color

For this cozy chic outfit, I took some classic winter wardrobe pieces and added a splash of bright color to make everything pop.

I started with my turquoise blue velvet Royal Couture leotard and my favorite pair of blue jeans, a staple I’m loving right now. After setting the color blue as my base for this look, it was time to add some stand-out colors. I chose bold, contrasting shades–a hot pink puffer jacket to keep me warm and some cute olive strappy heels. Don’t forget your old faves, though! I accessorized with a black belt and gold jewelry. I matched the small details, a purse and hair clips, to my jacket to tie everything together. Finish the look off with rainbow rhinestone earrings for some extra color and sparkle, and we’re set!

The Look:

  • “Soho” Leotard in Blue Velvet by Royal Couture
  • Light Wash Denim Jeans
  • Hot Pink Puffer Jacket
  • Black and Gold Belt
  • Pink Textured Mini-Purse
  • Multicolored Drop Hoop Earrings
  • Pink and Blue Hair Clips
  • Olive Open-Toe Strappy Heels

The Leather Look

Look out, Diva! The paparazzi’s cameras are flashing because this look is fierce! Get ready to slay in this all-leather look.

The base for this outfit is my gold velvet “Angel Baby” leotard which I’m wearing as a bodysuit. It is always glam, but it’s shimmery fabric is perfect for getting into the holiday spirit. Next, I put together my leather pieces–a blazer, pants, and boots. (You can totally go monochrome with this leather look.) I also added my favorite gold jewelry and made sure to have a makeup look that sparkled. Let your highlighter shine! A high ponytail gives this look a sleek fierce vibe to accompany the shine of the leather. For the final touches, I added a leather mini-purse and square shades.

The Look:

  • “Angel Baby” Leotard in Gold Velvet by Royal Couture
  • Black Leather Pants
  • Black Leather Oversized Blazer
  • Black Belt
  • Black Leather Boots
  • Square Black Sunglasses
  • Gold Chain Necklace and Earrings
  • Black Mini-Purse

Layered Chic

Get ready to strut because this outfit is totally runway ready! Layering a simple slip dress is perfectly on-trend for fall and winter 2020.

“she who leaves a trail of glitter is never forgotten.”

For this fashion statement, you can use any color dress and place it over a bodysuit, tank, short-sleeve shirt, graphic tee, turtleneck, or even a sweater! I layered a copper dress over my white velvet “Nolita” leotard. Together, these pieces give off a modern and effortlessly chic vibe. You don’t have to stop at layering your clothes! You can layer your jewelry as well. I layered gold necklaces and rings using contrasting shapes and sizes to make a statement. Finish everything off with my go-to, white leather heeled booties. They match with everything and highlight the white leotard and pearl earrings. All that’s left is a bling mini-purse. No matter what the look is, there is always room for some sparkle and shine!

The Look:

  • “Nolita” Leotard in White Velvet by Royal Couture
  • Copper Satin Slip Dress
  • White Oversized Pearl Blazer
  • White Leather Boots
  • Bling Mini-Purse
  • Gold Pearl Drop Dangle Earrings
  • Layered Gold Necklaces
