“…when I dance I can either make people happy or…help relay a message that speaks to others…”

How does dance have a positive impact on your life?

“Dance gives me an outlet to feel free and create my own vision of art. I love the creative movement and the fact that when I dance I can express emotions that are sometimes hard to explain. Dance has also made a huge impact by teaching me discipline, responsibility, team building and how to sometimes deal with stress in the competition world.”

How do you want to use dance to make a positive influence on your community?

“I want to know that when I dance I can either make people happy or I can help relay a message that speaks to others through emotion. I would love to get more kids involved in dance and being more active. Dance is a great way to stay active and build your social skills which I personally believe are great values.”
