“Dance has positively impacted me as an outlet for my emotions. Having an artistic way to vent has made me a happier and healthier person.”

How does dance have a positive impact on your life?

Dance has positively impacted me as an outlet for my emotions. Whether I am sad, happy, or angry, dancing has always been my way to let those emotions go. Having an artistic way to vent has made me a happier and healthier person.

How do you want to use dance to have a positive influence on your community?

I want to use my ability to dance to help other people. The past few years, my studio has performed at multiple different benefits in order to raise money for charities such as Dancers Against Cancer and Gigi’s Playhouse. Knowing that something I love doing has the ability to improve others’ lives means the world to me.
