Orpheus and Eurydice, Hades and Persephone, and the rest of the inhabitants of Hadestown are coming back this fall. The musical announced that it will be returning to Broadway in September.

Ahead of other major productions, including favorites like Chicago, Hamilton, and Wicked, Hadestown is getting ready to reopen at the Walter Kerr Theatre and to revive its touring production.

Opening on Broadway September 2, 2021 is just the beginning of Hadestown‘s return way back down. The North American tour of the show will start October 5 in Greenville, South Carolina before traveling to more than 30 cities including Washington D.C. where it will be at the Kennedy Center four four weeks. On the other side of the globe, yet another Hadestown cast will be opening August 24 in Seoul, South Korea.

Tickets go on sale for Hadestown on Broadway Friday, June 11 at 10:00 am ET, but before that American Express® Card Members get early access to tickets Tuesday, June 1 at 10:00 am ET, and registered fans can get priority access via the “Songbird First Access Program” starting Tuesday, June 8 at 10:00 am ET until the tickets become available to the general public.
