The GEM Sisters star in a new book written by their parents, MeLisa Lomelino and Ryun Hovind, available now after an early release.

While the sisters and their fans have been at home, self-quarantining during the COVID-19 pandemic, the social media stars have stayed busy, working to keep providing entertaining and uplifting content for their followers on Instagram and YouTube. Among their various video projects and social media posts, they also decided to push up the release of the book which was originally intended for late 2020.

The third book in the Sister Detectives series by the teen entertainers’ parents, Runway Rumors follows Giselle, Evangeline, and Mercedes as a mystery unfolds a fashion contest the sisters have been invited to model in. They’ll have to work together to find out who is sabotaging the competition.

“Social media stars, GEM Sisters, are invited to model in a huge fashion contest. But someone is up to no good. Are the models safe? Will the runway show be canceled? Soon, everyone is blaming Mercedes! Giselle and Evangeline don’t know what to think. Mercedes wants to win, but she would never cheat…would she? Can the Sister Detectives prove that Mercedes is innocent? Or, are the rumors true and she’s guilty? Read the fun mystery to find out!”

In previous books in the series, the GEM Sisters have solved spooky mysteries and tracked down dognappers, so this third adventure is one-of-a-kind. In a video announcing the latest addition to their parents’ book series, Evangeline and Mercedes were excited to share that there is lots of “girl drama” and excitement that comes with finding out who is behind the sabotages (and whether or not it’s Mercedes). They’re also happy to share that the overall message of the book is: “Every girl is special and unique in her own way. There isn’t one kind of beautiful.”

Runway Rumors is available now in e-book form and physical copy from Amazon, Apple Books, and Barnes & Noble.
