Alex & Katie star Finn Carr is at home social-distancing instead of on set, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t busy. We talked to Finn about everything he’s reading, watching, and listening to. Plus, he shared with us how he’s keeping his tap skills in shape with “pajama tap” and Instagram Live.

Action and Adventure

Browsing your favorite streaming services wondering what to watch? Finn’s recent watches include Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and The Hunger Games movies. “Loved both!” He said.

Enjoying Whatever Music Comes His Way

“I listen to pretty much anything!” Finn said when we asked him about the music he’s listening to right now. In one of his recent Instagram tap classes, he danced to “Don’t Start Now” by Dua Lipa, so it looks like anything he can tap along to is the perfect song in the moment!

A Long Reading List

Finn’s a busy book worm right now, and he shared his long reading list with us. The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins, the Harley Merlin series by Bella Forrest, The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart, and Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper are all on Finn’s TBR.

Middle School Mysteries

Finn is enjoying mystery podcasts. “I’ve loved listening to Mars Patel,” he shared. The middle school mystery podcast is on its third season, so there are plenty of episodes to listen to if you decide to jump in and listen along with Finn.

Pajama Tap Classes

When it comes to dancing, Finn has been teaching beginner level “pajama tap” lessons on Instagram (@finn_carr08) with the help of his mom. He’s also taken some online tap classes, but with a mom that teaches tap, he doesn’t have to look hard for dance lessons.
