It’s time to spring into a brand-new season! Flowers are showing off their fabulous colors, and the sun is shining on longer days. There’s also plenty of bold, fresh fashion to be inspired by this spring. Springtime brings joyful new energy we can carry on into our fashion! This season is the perfect time for stepping outside your fashion comfort zone and trying new trending colors, prints, and fabrics. Read on for three fashion-forward looks inspired by this lively season.

A Sparkling Statement

Teen Vogue sees all things shiny as a must-add for your spring wardrobe. “Glittering sequins, satins, and wet-metallics are a sure way to add that extra flair to your wardrobe. Depending on your styling, it could give rock ‘n’ roll, disco princess, or glamorous beauty queen.” You know we love any chance to bring some sparkle into an everyday look!

Try adding sparkling pieces into your spring wardrobe while taking advantage of things you already own. You can build a glittering outfit around those longtime faves. I started this look with a special vintage silver shine sequin dress that was passed down to me by my favorite fashion queen, my mom! I paired it with sleek white leather knee-high boots and a cream blazer. For a real Vogue look, pairing contrasting silhouettes—like this oversized blazer and fitted dress—is key. I finished the look with classic gold jewelry for an extra (and elevated) shine. No hesitation, sparkle queen!

The Look

  • Silver Shine Sequin Dress
  • Cream Oversized Blazer
  • White Leather Knee High Boots
  • Gold Hoop Earrings
  • Golden Pearl Sparkle Necklace
  • Accent Glitter Rings

Crushing on Orange

Hello, orange! It’s totally time to infuse some Vitamin C into your spring wardrobe. Orange is in and Vogue Scandinavia says, “This season we long to swathe ourselves in tangerine tones,” citing Pantone’s “Coral Rose” as a trending spring/summer 2022 shade. This energetic and cute color just makes me so happy! A true ray of sunshine, how can you not smile when your outfit has a pop of orange? Tangerine, cantaloupe, or peach, oh my! If you’re feeling fab and fruity, go for this statement color.

Orange is great in full monochrome, a pop of color from one piece, or even just orange accessories like bows or bucket hats. I paired this stand-out spring color with some of my favorite solid pink pieces. (We love complimenting bold shades!) This creates a bright retro-chic vibe that’s perfect for spring.

The Look

  • Royal Couture X Showstopper PINK Crushed Velvet Leotard
  • Pink Flare Cropped Pants
  • Orange Terrycloth Bucket Hat
  • Orange Turtleneck Top Wrap

Soft Knit Spring

Hearts are perfect for spring! Let’s take some fabulous loungewear and make it fashion. Who doesn’t love a comfortable fit? A knit set is always a win. Comfy and cute is the perfect way to stay warm when that spring chill creeps back in but also enjoy the sun. Matching sets just make sense. They are simply stylish and put together for a low-effort look.

Go for edgy knot colors and patterns that bring fun to your look. With knits, it’s all about how you style them. Styling this pink knit set for the day, I kept it casual but very wearable by pairing it with white sneakers. I also added some gold jewelry (my go-to) for a little added glam. For those of us already looking ahead to summer, the forecast is in. Vogue Scandinavia says, “Set up for summer in knit sets” which they call “polished yet comfortable.” We can’t wait for that summer feeling!

The Look

  • Pink Hearts Knit Set – Top + Pants
  • White Fila Sneakers
  • Gold necklace
  • Gold Hoop Earrings
  • Pink Disney Bow Minnie Ears!
