“I don’t know who I would be today without dance. Dance has guided me throughout my entire life with the importance of learning, patience, and determination.”

How does dance have a positive impact on your life?

I don’t know who I would be today without dance. Dance has guided me throughout my entire life with the importance of learning, patience, and determination. It has taught me self-confidence and how to strive for growth everyday not just in myself but everyone around me. Dance keeps me focused and most importantly has given me lifelong friendships all over the world! It has also shown me that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Have grace, patience, and strive to push yourself beyond your boundaries to inspire other dancers to be the best they can be!

How do you want to use dance to be a positive influence on your community?

One of the biggest lessons dance has taught me is what it feels like to be completely passionate about the things you love. My goal is to share that passion not just with fellow dancers but with the world. Telling stories and making others smile is what keeps me going; it’s what sets my soul on fire. I want to continue to inspire the youth and other dancers to find their passion and run with it. I aspire to encourage everyone to find kindness and joy in everything they do and strive to be the difference in someone else’s life.
