NBA team, The Brooklyn Nets are going to be holding auditions for their 2017-2018 season! The auditions are going to be held on August 5th, at The Arnold and Marie Schwartz Center – 1 University Plaza, Brooklyn, NY. All dancers must arrive by 10:00 am!
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Seeking boys and girls ages 6-13 with at least two years of dance training
- Dancers must demonstrate their ability to learn and perform choreography
- One parent or legal guardian must be present at registration to sign a participation waiver
- Only those auditioning will be allowed into the gymnasium
- Finalists may be kept until 4:30pm
- Dancers who are selected must be available to attend rehearsals in Brooklyn once a week as well as Saturday and Sunday home games at Barclays Center
- All dance team members will be paid
If you are looking to get in a little practice before the audition, the Nets will be holding an audition workshop July 12th &19th. According to Cincinnati Bengals Cheerleader, Renee Williams, attending workshops offered by a prospective team is a great way to enhance your chances of actually making the team!
