    I watched a documentary called Cowspiracy and it was so eye-opening and disturbing. After watching this I knew I wanted to take no part in the abuse in the meat, dairy, fish, and egg industries.

    Honestly, there was nothing “tough” about going vegan. I was so set and determined to cut out animal products of my diet. I was actually super excited!

    It really wasn’t a challenge looking for vegan beauty and skincare products. There are so many amazing companies that make cruelty-free and vegan products. Every time I’m interested in buying a certain product I look up all of the details and ingredients online before I go shopping and purchase anything.

    My favorite vegan makeup products would be my Kat Von D Ink Eyeliner, Too Faced Born This Way Foundation, Tarte Gifted Mascara, and any product from Pacifica.

    Educate yourself on the ethical reasons for going vegan. Watch Cowspiracy and read vegan books. There are so many fake “meat” products, so if you ever miss those flavors, there are so many substitutes!

    It’s super easy to spread the word about veganism. Some ways I do it is by posting on social media and wearing shirts with vegan messages on them. In fact, my family just came out with a vegan t-shirt company called "Please Don’t Eat My Friends!".
