If you’re a fan of American Ballet and Bolshoi Ballet Principal David Hallberg, you are in luck. He has written a memoir called A Body of Work: Dancing to the Edge and Back. The book is out for pre-order now and is set to be published on November 7th (excuse us while we mark out calendars). The book is about Hallberg’s career and seems to focus strongly on his recovery from a severe ankle injury in 2014. This injury kept him off the stage and out of the spotlight until late last year.

Hallberg said in an update on his website, “ For the past several years, I have been writing about my career and experience performing on some of the most amazing stages in the world, but the true impetus for the book came when I suffered my injury three years ago. It was then that I decided to open up and write about what I was going through during that struggle to return to my art form.”
