What Sacrifices are You Willing to Make?
Or, better yet, what are you willing to make sacrifices for? Not everything goes smoothly all of the time, but if the outcome is worth what you lose going in, isn't it worth it? So, if you want to learn how to draw is it worth people telling you that your art isn't good enough on the way there? If you want to dance, are you willing to suffer through your friends' opinions of dance as a hobby/career? The journey to success has rocks in the path. You just have to determine which ones you are willing to trip over on your way there.
What Passions Have You Let Go?
When we are young, a lot of what we do, we do solely for our own enjoyment, but age makes us consider factors outside of our happiness. We think about the opinions of others and the monetary consequences of doing things before we consider how happy they will make us. What were you passionate about before any of those things mattered? Are you pushing that passion down because of factors other than whether or not you will enjoy it? Passion is an important factor in figuring out what is right for you. Sure, you can work nine to five just because it is secure or you can "work" nine to five doing something you care about, something you love to do! Write down things you love/want to do and go do them! Who cares about what other people think? If you are passionate about something, go do it. Do it for you.

If there is one thing you want to be remembered for, how are you going to make it memorable?
